1775
18 October - Major Stopford, Capt Brice, 4 Lieutenants, 7 Sergeants, 9 Corporals, 1 Drum Major, 1 Drummer and 54 privates of the 7th, along with 3 privates of the 26th, 1 Captain and 4 enlisted men of the Royal Artillery, and 1 Capt of the Royal Navy surrender Ft Chambly along with the Regiment's colours and a year's worth of clothing to a force of 400 Rebels.
3 November – The garrison of Fort St John surrenders, including 4 Captains, 8 Lieutenants and 251 rank and file of 7th.
19 November – Lt General Richard Prescott, 1 Captain, 1 Lieutenant, 3 Sergeants and 21 rank and file of the Royal Fuziliers along with 107 Officers and men of the 26th Regt, and a handful of the Royal Highland Emigrants, Royal Artillery and Staff surrenders on the St. Lawrence River at la Valtrie.
83 Royal Fuziliers under the command of Capt. Owens were left to assist in the successful defense of Quebec City.

March - recruits for the regiment arrive in Boston and then sent to Nova Scotia with the Boston Garrison, and then on to Quebec.
26 May - All of the Fuziliers still in Quebec are drafted into Gen. Burgoyne's corps, primarily the 47th Regiment.
December - prisoners taken at Forts St John and Chambly exchanged and sent to New York City where the regiment is rebuilt. Say's Journal The colonelcy of the 7th is transferred from General Lord Robert Bertie to General Richard Prescott.
1777
January through July - Recruits arrive from England and the regiment is moved around the NYC theater - Amboy, Newbridge, Ft Lee, Paules Hook, and Bergen Point.
23 June - Brigaded with 26th, 35th, and 63rd under Maj. Gen. Vaughn.
July - Officers of the 7th in Rhode Island and killed in combat.
10 July - General Prescott is captured on Prescott Farm in Rhode Island along with his batman, Fuzilier Issac Carden.
12-16 September – Regiment participates in raid and skirmishing around Newark, NJ. Lt Hamer and one Private wounded.
6 October – Attacks on Ft Montgomery and Ft Clinton - LI Company of the 7th and 26th assault Ft Clinton. Battalion companies posted at the pass at Thunder Hill to secure the path back to the ships.
9 October – Successfully atttacks and destroys Continental Village.
November - sent to garrison Philadelphia

5 – 12 July – Participated in Tryon's raids on the Connecticut coast. Two Privates killed, 3 Sgts and 18 Privates wounded, 3 missing.
26 December – Sails with General Clinton's Army for South Carolina.
1780
February – The 7th brigaded with 23rd Royal Welsh Fuziliers and 33rd Regiment for the Charleston, SC expedition, occupies Stono Ferry.
29 March – 12 May - Charleston falls. The regiment forms part of the city's garrison along with the 63rd and 64th Regiments and 2 Hessian Regiments. One Private killed and 2 wounded during the siege.
26 May - 3 companies of the 7th, under Captain Peacock, with the PWAR, American Volunteers, and Light Infantry are sent to Ninety-Six under Nesbitt Balfour.
14 June - Balfour's force arrives at the Congarees. Rather than continue on to Ninety-Six, the 7th and 40 men of the PWAR remain at the Congarees post to secure the area from marauding rebels and assist with the formation of the militia.
June - 80 men of the 7th assist with the construction of the fortifications around Camden, SC
27 June - Royal Fuziliers are sent to Monks Corner, riding most of the way in wagons. From Monks Corner, they are sent to Charleston.
July - Detachment at Camden sent back to Charleston to rejoin rest of regiment.
31 July - Regiment's clothing is worn out and they are deemed "unfit to march" by the commander of Charleston.
3 September - Only 220 men of the 7th are fit for duty, the remainder are sick at Charleston and Camden.
4 September – Royal Fuziliers, under Major Moncrief of the Engineers, along with 3 regiments of Militia are sent to Georgetown to retake the area from the rebels. Many rebels are arrested and large amounts of supplies are confiscated.
21 September - Royal Fuziliers are mounted on horses destined for the British Legion and other Dragoons and sent to Camden and then to join Cornwallis.
October - The 1st Light Infantry Battalion, including the Light Company of the 7th arrives in the Chesapeake Bay under Major General Alexander Leslie and begins raiding the James River Basin.
5 October - Regiment arrives at the Waxhaws with the supplies for Cornwallis's army.
7 October - Royal Fuziliers arrive in Charlotte.
11 October - 106 men of the 7th are sick in the Camden Hospital.
19 October – Capt George Peacock dies of Yellow fever hear Charlotte, NC.
21 October - Royal Fuziliers are ordered back to Camden as a reinforcement to that garrison, and arrive a couple days later under the command of Lt. Marshall.
25 November - 7th is ordered back to Wynnsboro to reinforce Cornwallis.
4 December - New clothing for the Royal Fuziliers is forwarded to Wynnsboro; they receive new uniforms and winter clothing along with the rest of the Army.

1 January – 9 Officers and 165 Fuziliers, of the 240 present, are organized into 4 companies and are detached to reinforce the garrison at Ninety-Six, SC along with supplies for that garrison and a brass 3-pound cannon.
7 January - recruits for the regiments with Cornwallis arrive in Wynnsboro, including 5 Royal Fuziliers. They, along with 13 of the regiment's recovered sick remain with Cornwallis's army as they missed the departure of the detachment bound for Ninety-Six. Approximately 70 sick Fuziliers remain in Camden.
17 January - Battle of Cowpens – The entirety of the 4 companies are killed, wounded, and captured along with the regiment's colours which were with baggage train. The greatest casualties suffered by the Rebels are taken by the units facing the 7th.
Late February – mid March – During the Race to the Dan and at the battle of Wetzel’s Mill 1 man of the 7th was captured and another killed.
15 March – Battle of Guilford Courthouse - 2 Fuziliers are killed, 2 are captured. Another dies of his wounds 2 days later.
24 May - The armies of Cornwallis and Phillips meet in Petersburg, Va. The 12 surviving Fuziliers of the Carolina campaign are attached to the Light Infantry Company.
6 July - Battle of Green Spring Light Company present.
16 October - Abercrombie's Sortie - 3 Light Infantrymen and 1 Fuzilier of the 7th are captured during the raid.
19 October – Surrender of the Yorktown Garrison - Cpt Baillie, Lt. Harling, Adjutant Wood, 18 Light Infantrymen, and 11 Fuziliers are taken prisoner along with the rest of Cornwallis's command.
22 December – 182 men of the Royal Fuziliers sent from Charleston to reinforce the garrison at Savanna, Ga.

11 August – The garrison of Savannah, including the 7th, arrives in NYC. The 7th is posted to Long Island.

19 August - The Army is notified that it will soon be evacuating NYC; the 7th is slated to return to England.
25 November - NYC evacuated. The survivors of the 7th were some of the last British troops to board their transport ships and leave the harbour.
